“I want to help children develop healthy habits that will set them up for success and thrive!”
Mary Puntenney Mou
Play therapy focuses on the child’s own methods of coping, which can be strengthened to increase their flexibility, independence, and problem-solving abilities. By providing children with an outlet for their emotions, they can feel relief and understanding. Child counseling is beneficial for the family because it helps children better communicate their inner world with others.
Flourishing families specializes in creating a warm space for children to tap into their inner strengths; encouraging positive life experiences. The focus of Mary Puntenney Mou is to help each client build resilience based on their individual needs using play therapy techniques. If you are concerned about your child or family’s behaviors, please feel free to contact us here.
